Activity Summary
Meeting point: Vilaflor

Upon arriving at the meeting point in Vilaflor, you will meet with the guide and drive for about 5 minutes to the entrance of the gorge. At the location, the guide will provide you with specialized canyoning equipment that you will use during the descent, and give a brief briefing on the activity, including techniques and safety rules. Entry into the gorge will happen almost immediately. The descent will begin with the first rappel at a height of about 20 meters. After completing the first descent, you will start to notice the surrounding gray basalt walls and vegetation consisting of bejeques and endemic Macaronesian species, such as Carlina salicifolia. Erosion over the years has carved this impressive gorge, where the gray walls, play of light, and rock formations will make you feel like you are exploring the Moon. After completing 8 descents, you will reach the end of the descent, where you will return via a path among the characteristic Canary pines to the starting point.

- Any decision made by the guide during the activity regarding safety must be respected by the client. Otherwise, the guide may cancel the activity without the right to a refund.
- In case of bad weather, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you and try to avoid traveling to the scheduled location. In such a situation, there will be an option to reschedule the activity or a full refund.
Cancellations and Modifications
- If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, changes or cancellations will incur no costs, and you will receive a 100% refund of the reservation value. The refund will be processed within approximately 3 to 15 business days.
- In case of a date change, you can make a maximum of two changes within two months from the date of the reservation.
- Failure to appear at the location on the agreed date and time will result in the loss of the total fee for the activity, which will be allocated to administrative costs and guide compensation.
