Entering the Anaga Rural Park is like discovering an oasis in the desert. Due to its terrain and the northeast trade winds, this place has a unique environment. Its cultural, historical richness, and conservation have been recognized by UNESCO, which declared this area a Biosphere Reserve in 2015, highlighting its exceptional nature on a global scale.

After meeting the guide at the designated spot, you will receive a brief overview of the activity and basic instructions on progression and environmental care. As you start this circular route, you will feel surrounded by dense vegetation, consisting of heather, laurels, vinyátigos, and more. You will begin to understand why this unique environment was recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve in 2015. The trail will follow a comfortable path, which may be a bit slippery during rainy periods. Along the way, you will pass through areas of special protection and community interest, finding characteristic points that will help you better understand the Anaga Rural Park. This trail is perfect for a first contact with the Anaga Park, where you can discover nearly all aspects that this magical forest holds.
