You don't need a diving license to scuba dive and admire underwater nature. We organize beginner dives in a beautiful place called Stingray Bay. Several types of this species are found here. None of them are aggressive. On the contrary, they are very gentle and sociable. They usually aren't afraid of divers and come close.

Stingray Bay is home to many species of underwater animals. A large part of the bottom is covered by volcanic reef. It is a favorite place for all kinds of underwater life. During the dive, we can see: about 15 species of fish, crabs, moray eels, octopuses, cuttlefish, shrimp, and many more. We see stingrays here every day, although we cannot guarantee them during every dive. Species of stingrays: Sting Ray, Bul Ray, Butterfly Ray.

How does the diving program work?

The minimum age is 8 years. We start with a 30-minute training session in a language that the participant understands. We use specially prepared instruction in the form of a video or orally. We select the appropriate diving equipment and enter the water. Program participants are supervised by the instructor, with a maximum ratio of two to one. This provides a great sense of comfort and safety. This distinguishes our school from others, where one instructor can have up to 8 people under their supervision. Our Diving Base is located as close as possible to the water entrance in Stingray Bay! This increases the comfort of the diving program. At the base, you can leave personal belongings, change clothes, or use the restroom. At the participant's request, we take photos/videos during the diving program for an additional fee of 25 euros. The length of time spent underwater depends on the purchased option.

Difference between Intro and DSD PADI.

Both are programs for beginners and do not require any prior preparation. During the DSD PADI training, the diver acquires basic diving skills. The DSD PADI program ends with the receipt of a diploma and counts as the first diving lesson if the participant continues their education to receive a diving certificate.

Start times and duration.

The time set during the booking is automatic and subject to change. Depending on the number of reservations on the day and the weather. Expect a message to your email and keep your contact phone on. The duration depends on the program, but most of the time is taken by training and preparation for diving. We do not rush. Reserve an appropriate amount of time, about 2.5 - 3 hours. If you use our transport, add extra time. Transport is group-based, so sometimes you have to wait for your turn for the diving program or after diving wait for the transport.

What to bring?

When going diving, bring a towel, swimsuit, and drinks. You can leave your personal belongings at the base under the care of the office and cameras.

Transport.

You can book a free transfer from your hotel to our base. However, remember that it is a group transfer and is subject to certain conditions. The free pickup is limited to the area shown on the map below. Do not be late for the pickup time! The car probably has more places and people to pick up. Sometimes you have to wait for your diving program or return transport. We try to make everything quick and without time loss.

Own transport.

If you do not need our transport, you can reach the diving base on your own. Sometimes it allows saving time. If you live nearby, you can come on foot. If you have a rental car, there is no problem parking next to our building. On busier days, you will find a parking space no further than 200 meters.

Safety and health.

Statistics ensure that diving for beginners is very safe. Comparable to cycling. For this reason, it is also available for children. Every participant in the training program is insured. Diving also does not require special health conditions. However, there are diseases that require a doctor's consent. If you have asthma, epilepsy, chronic heart disease, take medication that does not allow you to drive, cannot do sports, or are disabled, obtain a document from your doctor. Pregnant women should not dive.

Booking rules and PROMOTION. Refunds.

You can take advantage of the price promotion only if you book online or with another form of prepayment. If you book less than 18 hours before the trip, call us after making the reservation! Check emails from us and keep your contact phone on. Let us know in the reservation comment if you are using our transport or will come on your own. You can get a refund by canceling the reservation under certain conditions. Remember your reservation blocks a place and an instructor, so it cannot be withdrawn 24 hours before.

Our base uses all recommended antiviral techniques. Behavior rules and equipment disinfection. Remember to follow the rules. Disinfect your shoes and hands. Wear a mask and keep your distance from others if possible.
